  • 2 slices SASKO Plus+ Cranberry Low GI bread
  • 50g chocolate spread/ nutella
  • 50g Fresh banana, sliced
  • 15g butter, room temperature
  • Icing sugar, to dust
  • 2 slices SASKO Plus+ Cranberry Low GI bread
  • 1.76oz chocolate spread/ nutella
  • 1.76oz Fresh banana, sliced
  • 0.52oz butter, room temperature
  • Icing sugar, to dust

METHOD

  1. Preheat the jaffle or sandwich maker.
  2. Spread one side of each bread with butter.
  3. Place a slice, butter-side down and evenly spread the chocolate spread, place the sliced banana onto the chocolate spread and cover with the other slice of buttered bread, butter side up.
  4. Cook for 4-5 minutes or until golden brown.
  5. Remove from jaffle maker and slice and dust with icing sugar to serve.
