INGREDIENTS
For the casserole:
- 1 loaf SASKO PREMIUM SLICES WHITE BREAD, cut into cubes
- 8 extra large eggs
- 2 cups milk
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/3 cup butter, melted
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 2 bananas, sliced
For the crumble:
For the casserole:
- 1 loaf SASKO PREMIUM SLICES WHITE BREAD, cut into cubes
- 8 extra large eggs
- 2 cups milk
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/3 cup butter, melted
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 2 bananas, sliced
For the crumble:
- Preheat the oven to 180°C.
- Grease an oven proof dish with non-stick spray and set aside.
- In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, brown sugar, butter, vanilla extract and cinnamon.
- Add the SASKO PREMIUM SLICES WHITE BREAD,
- and banana to the egg mixture and combine until all the bread is coated.
- Place the mixture into the greased baking dish and set aside.
- To make the crumble, place the SASKO CAKE WHEAT FLOUR, brown sugar and salt in a bowl.
- Add the butter and work through the mixture with your hands to create big clumps of dough.
- Place the crumble in the freezer for at least 15 minutes.
- Top the casserole with the crumble and bake for 30 – 35 minutes.
